Treviglas Academy GCSE Results Day 2025

Today was a day of celebration at Treviglas Academy as Year 11 students proudly received their GCSE results, surrounded by teachers, parents, carers and friends. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy as families came together to share in the achievements of Treviglas students.

Headteacher of Treviglas Academy, Mr James Rogers, praised the students, saying:

“We are absolutely thrilled with this year’s results. These outcomes have nothing to do with luck – they are the direct result of the hard work, ambition and responsibility shown by our students, supported every step of the way by their parents and our staff team. We are incredibly proud of what they have achieved.”

Top grades have been achieved across the curriculum, alongside a significant increase in the number of students securing the coveted grade 5s in both English and Maths. These exceptional results mark another important step in the school’s journey, following a year in which students have continued to excel both in and out of the classroom.

There was a strong sense of community throughout the morning, with students reflecting on their time at Treviglas Academy and sharing excitement about their next steps. Many expressed how much they would miss the friendships and support networks built during their time at school. A large number will also be continuing their academic journey at the growing Treviglas Academy Sixth Form.

Mr Rogers concluded:

“This is a very proud day for Treviglas Academy. Our students have not only achieved academic excellence but have also contributed so much to the wider life of the school. They should be very proud of themselves – we certainly are.”

Treviglas Academy is rated Good by Ofsted across all areas, including quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and sixth form provision.

Ofsted reported:

“Pupils are proud to be part of the school community. Treviglas Academy has high expectations of pupils’ conduct. They balance these expectations with warmth and mutual respect.
