Music lessons

Music lessons at Treviglas are provided by Cornwall Music Service Trust.  These small group lessons are in addition to the whole-class music lessons that all students will enjoy as part of their curriculum provision.

Parents/carers apply through their website (https://www.cornwallmusicservicetrust.org) and sign up here (https://www.cornwallmusicservicetrust.org/signup)

Students will need an instrument for the instrumental lessons, however we have some at Treviglas that students may use in their lessons (including drum kits, keyboards, guitars, basses, ukuleles, violins).  CMST don’t provide instruments, however Cornwall Music Education Hub can provide assistance here (http://www.cornwallmusiceducationhub.org/what-we-do/instrument-hire/)

We would advise you contact Cornwall Music Service Trust for further information if you would like your child to take up music lessons. Please note that once students have started lessons, a six week notice period has to be given if they later decide to cease lessons. To help ensure wider access to music tuition, subsidies are available, and full details of these can be found on the CMST website.
