Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope this message finds you and your families well and enjoying the summer holidays.
Apologies for the delay in sending this, but I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your children for another fantastic year at Treviglas Academy.
The school continues to go from strength to strength, thanks to the sheer hard work of everyone involved. What I’m most proud of is the growing sense of belonging that so many of our students now feel. Treviglas is their school, and I will continue to strive to make it the very best it can be for them.
Our whole-school celebration assembly last month really reflected the culture of kindness, ambition, and responsibility that we’ve been working hard to build together. This, alongside the much-anticipated—but ultimately successful—Ofsted visit, shows just how much we can achieve.
At the assembly, I challenged all students to return in September ready to do it all again, but even better! We are excited to welcome 180 new Year 7 students, and I’m confident that your children will help them feel welcome and part of our wonderful community from day one.
I'm sure you will join me in wishing our Year 11 and Year 13 students the very best of luck as they await their exam results. That said, we all know how hard they’ve worked—so luck will have little to do with it!
To ensure a smooth start to the new school year, please remind your child of the uniform expectations:
Shoes: Plain black leather with a stepped heel
Socks: Plain black
Hair: Natural colour only
Jewellery: One pair of stud earrings only—no rings, bracelets, or necklaces
Piercings: No nose studs or rings (not even covered with a plaster)
Nails: No false nails
Make-up: No excessive makeup or false lashes
Finally, a reminder that all students are expected to return on Tuesday, 2nd September. We are aiming for 100% attendance from the very start of the year.
Thank you for your continued support.
