Geography at Treviglas aims to encourage students to understand their impact on local environments and to assess the physical and human processes which occur at different scales.

The discussion of world issues, including migration, globalisation, and economic disparity, empowers students to form opinions, debate and evaluate the challenges and opportunities they, and other populations face in today’s changing world.

The schemes of work have been designed around the national curriculum and link to prior and future learning. The key concepts have been written to feed into the skills required at GCSE, but moreover to ensure that students are becoming effective Geographers.
