Well Done Everyone!

The long wait is over and Year 11 students at Treviglas Community College collected their GCSE results this morning. Mrs Dunleavy, Deputy Headteacher said, "We would like to congratulate all our students on a successful set of results!. All of our students worked hard and should be proud of the results they have achieved."

Mrs Ross added, I would like to say a big thank you to the outstandingly supportive parents of our Year 11 students who have had such an enormous input in to these excellent results. Parents’ attendance to our Year 11 focus evenings, their support of our Forecast programme and their hard work with their children at home has made a recognisable difference. Thanks also to the staff who all care so much about their students’ progress"

A great number of students achieved top level grades this year and so a special mention goes to the following students who achieved resounding success by attaining 6 A*-As equivalent grades or more:

There was another great achievement for Kane Smith in Year 11 and his brother Joe in Year 8. Well done to Kane for achieving A and A* in Maths and Further Maths A-levels and to Joe for achieving his A* in Maths GCSE and an A in Astronomy GCSE!
