The school mixed tag rugby team with other local schools!P.E . at Newquay Junior School
All chidren at Newquay Junior benefit from a variety of Physical Education on offer, whether within the curriculum or as an extra curricular club.
Children can participate in gymnastics, dance or even have a go on the climbing wall in our school hall. We have a football pitch and the grounds are also marked out for athletics, rounders, kwik-cricket and netball.
Regular fixtures in these sports are held with other schools.
Swimming and water safety are an essential part of the schools physical education programme and the school uses the facility of the local swimming pool. We aim to have the majority of our children swimming by the time they leave Newquay Junior School.
