Key Stage 5

A level Music Technology at Treviglas is a vibrant, creative and exciting option that sees students creating music, recording music, remixing music, listening to music and composing music. The subject is delivered with a practical ‘hands on’ approach utilizing the excellent resources that the music department has to offer including the recording studio, the recording/practice rooms and the latest recording hardware and software.
The A level in music technology is 65% coursework (70% in AS and 60% in A2).
This course develops your musicianship, your creativity, your technical skills, your practical skills, your presentation skills amongst many other skills. Success in Music Technology makes the 21st Century yours for the taking!
We are also able to give our post 16 students the opportunity to take Music at A Level.
