Thanks to the friendly nature of Mr Wells, we have made contact with a school in Anadalucia in the south of Spain. The Instituto de Educación Secundaria ‘Narazí’ in Salobreña, like us, is an 11-18 college with a predominantly rural intake.

Having received the details of a teacher at the school from Mr Wells, I contacted Miss Aneas, an English teacher at the school. Her department was as delighted as ours at the chance to create a link between our two colleges. As a result the students studying English (as a foreign Language – remember it’s Spain!) are writing emails to those students who have opted to do beginners Spanish at Treviglas, and in turn, our students will reply in Spanish!

Just as the smallest ripples can become amazing surf, so we hope the nature of this exchange will continue to develop in the future.
