Our year 10 students had an interesting trip this year. Friday night started with a tree planting ceremony at South Penquite Farm. The trees were donated by the Woodlands trust to commemorate the Duke of Edinburgh's Award 50th Anniversary last year. South Penquite is a farm that we use every year for this training expedition and we planted 10 Rowan trees in one of their fields. Participants enjoyed a dry friday night and got started early on saturday morning to walk across the moors to Jamaica Inn. |
