Welcome to the English and Media section of the site. Here we intend to fill you in with what's happening within the faculty, the kind of work we are doing in each of the key stages, and possibly answer any questions you may have.
The English and Media faculty is a dynamic team with a range of expertise and interests. Our aim is to bring language to life, fostering an enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of literature and media that surround our students. As such, we are constantly evolving and looking for new ways to inspire our students, encouraging them to digest, make sense of and challenge the host of information with which they are bombarded every day.
In future, as the site develops, you will be able to use this page to receive news from the faculty, together with information about extra curricular and enrichment activities.
Using the menu to the right of the page, you can take a look at specific areas of the faculty. You will have the opportunity to view curricular and examination information, schemes of learning and samples of students' work. You will also have the opportunity to view homework tasks, set according to year group.
