There are eleven teachers within the faculty. Most staff teach English full time, with some teaching Media and/or Drama too. We have one Drama specialist who teaches Drama full time. Our mission statement is: to enable our students to INTERROGATE and UNDERSTAND, EVALUATE and COMMUNICATE in an ever changing world. As such we seek to create lively and exciting learning environments, challenging our students to develop their skills of communication and expression.

The faculty is mostly based in the Core Learning Zone area of the college, and one teacher is based in the Drama Studio. We are proud to be able to offer students access to digital editing software via our suite of Apple laptops, and seek to provide all year groups with opportunities to use them. Our classrooms are mostly equipped with interactive whiteboards and overhead projectors, enabling us to use ICT within our teaching and learning.
